  • Design the mould : First , customers share their 3D modeling drawing with us , we analyze how to manufacture the moulds for the parts ;
  • Mould manufacturing : For moulds , we normally choose materials from aluminum , steel or fiberglass based on the structure design of the carbon fiber part ;  In order to get a perfect surface look of the carbon fiber parts , we need to polish the mould with a smooth surface ;
  • Carbon fiber lay-up process : We cut the carbon fiber fabrics to the required shapes and sizes via automated cutting machine ; then lay-up the material into the moulds in specific orientations to optimize the best strength and stiffness .
  • Consolidation and Curing : We place the mould into a vacuum bag and then remove the air from the vacuum bag ; heat the carbon fiber parts in autoclave or oven under controlled pressure and temperature ;
  • Demolding : Once the parts are cured , we need to remove the part from the mould carefully to avoid any damage ;
  • Trimming : We need to trim the edges and excess materials with CNC machines or laser cutter to get a precise part ;
  • Finishing : After above processes , we will sand the carbon fiber part’s surface , apply UV-Resistant clear coat with glossy or matte finish ;
  • Quality inspection : Check the surface defects , test the strength of the parts and verify if the sizes are exactly the same as drawing .Then we can pack and ship out the parts to customers.
